It’s that time of the year again, if you want to get involved and host one of the Whitehouse Living Advent Windows
What are "THE LIVING Advent Windows"?
Each night during the month of December (1-24th) a new decorated window is unveiled in Whitehouse, like opening the window of an Advent calendar. It’s a fun free community event run by the residents, for the residents to bring the community together over the festive season.
Your Living Advent Window Checklist

1. Your Date
Firstly sign up for a day on the link below. On your date, your decorated window will be “revealed” to the community.

2. Decorate Your Window
• Please decorate a street-facing window with a Christmassy or wintery scene/message.
• Make sure your window includes the number of your date e.g. If your date is the 5th, your window should clearly display a number 5.
• This is a fantastic activity to do with children.

3. Light Your Window
Please have your window lit up between 5–7 pm on your chosen date. You’re welcome to keep it lit for longer if you wish.
4. Festive Treats (Optional!)
If you’d like to offer Christmas treats, we recommend choosing a date on Friday, Saturday or Sunday, as these evenings attract more visitors.
If you’d rather not give out treats, a weekday might be a better fit, completely your choice.
If you plan to offer treats, please let us know in the form so we can mention it on social media for your evening.
5. Send Us Your Photos
PLEASE send us a few photos from your evening on the same evening ideally or by 11am the following day so we can feature them in that days post. If you can't do this, please let us know. Kindly send them by email to info@whitehousemk.church or DM on Instagram or Facebook
If you’re unable to send photos, just let us know.

Each day’s window will be posted on our social media at 11 am.
Every Sunday, we’ll share a round-up of all the week’s windows so no one misses out.
